People all over the United States love Montana. A lot of them have never been, but love the idea of a free place with open spaces and amazing folks. I travel often, and spend most of my time talking to the people I meet about my home, Montana. I feel like I’m an evangelist, spreading the gospel of Montana, while at the same time encouraging people not to move here and try to change it.
It’s been a pretty exciting couple of months here at MANtana! We got our first design printed by our awesome friend Dawn Anderson at Garage Tee’s, worked together with Jordan Payne to merge two online communities and grow them larger, and hosted the best online beard contest in the whole state (congrats Kailub). What’s next? It all depends on you… we have some pretty lofty goals for the MANtana community. I want the blog and FB page to be engaging and constantly busy, and I have a goal set of 20K “likes” for the year! I want MANtana to be a platform for fellow Montanans to promote their businesses, activities, hobbies, social groups, bake sales, art, blogs, news, whatever! The key word is “share”, and we were blown away with the amount of participation in the beard contest, which means we’ll be having plenty of contests throughout 2015!
We will be rolling out some new products over the next few months: stickers, new designs, possible a mustache wax and beard balm, and whatever else people would like. Montana is an amazing place to build a business: the economy is great, and Montanans go out of their way to support other Montana businesses. So far three retail locations are carrying our products: The Green Light and Rockin’ Rudy’s in Missoula, and now Frayed Sew in Helena!
Thanks for the support so far everybody. I love to log into the page in the morning and see that people are posting pictures and interacting with each other. I love feedback on the page and products, so please don’t hesitate to contact us here or on the FB page. If you have something going on that you love as much as I love MANtana, please post it up or drop us a line so we can help get the word out!
We were amazed at the response to the first poll we posted, and the feedback helped us streamline our ordering and inventory and get shirts in the sizes people want. Thanks MANtanans! I know how much people hate taking polls, but they are very helpful for us. SO, please vote on which design you like best for the FB page:
